Hi! I am Mrs. McNamara, but you can call me "Mrs. Mack." I am the librarian at Jenkintown Elementary. I am a certified Library Media Specialist with over 20 years teaching experience and I am thrilled to be part of the Jenkintown family.
I am working hard to make the library a warm and inviting space where kids and adults gather to read, learn and explore! The library program has some exciting things in store for you this year:

I have planned fun and engaging activities designed to enrich and extend our wonderful collection of children's literature.

I will be doing my very best to get (or keep) kids “hooked on reading” by recommending specific reading materials to each individual.

I have added many new titles of the latest and most exciting new books for young readers.

I will be working with students to develop research and computer skills.

I will promote good digital citizenship, and help kids make safe and ethical decisions when using the Internet.

Ihave a lot of special events being planned, including author visits, a book fair, and reading contests.
